Provides for safe ways of leaving an underground mine. Repeals sections 22 to 25, 33 to 35 and 70 of the Mines and Quarries Act 1954 and revokes the Coal and Other Mines (Height of Travelling Roads) Regulations 1956 and portions of the Mines (Emergency Egress) Regulations 1973.
