Abstract/Citation: Concerns integration contracts, declaration of integration and active citizenship, tightened conditions for unlimited residence permit, duty of education for young newly arrived aliens, follow-up of beneficiaries of introduction grants who are absent owing to reported illness.

Act No. 839 of 2005: Adds, i.a., new ss. 16a (education of foreigners 18 to 15 years of age), 18a (introduction programme), 20a (follow-up of alien receiving introduction grants and who is absent owing to reported illness), 25d (alien having left education without reasonable cause), 45a and 51b; amends, i.a., ss. 19 and 20; repeals s. 51(3) to (5).

Act No. 826 of 2005: Amends ss. 11(9) and 11(11); adds new s. 11c (unlimited residence permit).

Various entry into force and transitional provisions.
