Abstract/Citation: Introduces minimum periods of daily rest, weekly rest and annual leave and the maximum permissible duration of weekly working time, including that of night work. It does not apply to members of the armed forces and the police as well as seafarers falling within the scope of Law 79(1) of 2003. Executive and managerial staff, domestic workers and persons employed in religious ceremonial services are exempted from the application of the provisions on minimum daily and weekly rest and maximum weekly and night working time. Allows for special arrangements through collective or other agreements for persons employed in professions the nature of which requires the application of flexible working times.
