Abstract/Citation: Amends, i.a., ss. 13(1), 15(1), 15(2) and 16(3); repeals s. 1(2); adds new ss. 1(2) to 1(7) (direct and indirect discrimination, harassment and sexual harassment), 1a (duty of authorities to promote equal treatment), 5a (duty to ensure equal treatment in connection with membership of trade unions etc.) and 8a (right of parents having been on parental leave to return to same or equivalent work). Act implements various EU directives.
