Abstract/Citation: Amends Article 1 of Order No. 13 of 1979. Establishes that employee may be granted special leave without pay for 6 months to 3 years, during entire service period, provided that he or she is Kuwaiti citizen and has been in government's service for a continous period of no less than 10 years and is at least 50 years old. Leave may be granted for 6 months to 4 years to: (a) Kuwaiti married employee or non-Kuwaiti emplyee who is married to a Kuwaiti; or (b) Kuwaiti widowed or divorced employee with children, or non-Kuwaiti widowed or divorced employee with Kuwaiti children, provided that she has been in government's service for non less than 1 year. Married employee may be granted this leave to accompany her husband abroad even if in government's service for less than one year, if her husband is Kuwaiti.
