Abstract/Citation: Provides for jobseeker's allowance for those available for and actively seeking employment. Divided into 13 parts. Part 1 (s. 1-3) contains general provisions. Part 2 (s. 44-45) deals with jobseeking, Part 3 (s. 46-56) with other conditions of entitlement, and Part 4 (s. 57-68) with young persons. Part 5 (s. 69-75) regulates sanctions. Part 6 (s. 76-78) deals with membership of family. Part 7 (s. 79-87) provides for amounts of allowance. Part 8 (s. 88-139) makes provision for income and capital. Part 9 (s. 140-146) deals with hardship; Part 10 (s. 147-149) with urgent cases. Part 11 (s. 150-155) provides for part-weeks. Part 12 (s. 156-164) contains provisions regarding special categories of workers; Part 12 (s. 168-172) miscellaneous provisions.
