Abstract/Citation
The Regulations, consisting of 305 sections, deal with the receipt, transport, stocking, guarding, delivery, use and destruction of authorised explosures, precautions to take and inspections to carry out, especially during handling between storage pits and mining operation sites. They also set forth the requirements such operations must meet, depending upon whether they are underground or surface operations. Special provisions concern the use of underground water and minerals, petroleum and natural gas. Repeals, in particular, the Regulations of 26 Jan. 1967 on protective measures in the handling of explosives during blasting operations in mines. Entry into force six months following publication.
