Makes provision for competent bodies, agencies and organisations involved in setting standards for professional knowledge and skills, as well as for procedures for obtaining national vocational qualifications. Comprises 10 parts. Part 1 contains general provisions. Part 2 provides for expert and other agencies, bodies and organisations, Part 3 for catalogues of standards for professional knowledge and skills, Part 4 for conditions for obtaining vocational qualifications, and Part 5 for assessment and certification procedure. Part 6 deals with protection of candidates' rights, Part 7 with supervision, Part 8 with records, and Part 9 with funding. Part 10 contains transitional and final provisions.
