Abstract/Citation: Provides for establishment of Malta Council for Economic and Social Development. Council is to provide a forum for consultation and social dialogue between social partners and, where necessary, with organizations of civil society. Is entrusted with task of advising Government on issues relating to sustainable economic and social development of Malta. Also regulates composition (representatives of the Government, and persons nominated by representative national employers' and workers' organisations), internal procedures and financing of Council.
