| Abstract/Citation: | This Law defines the principles governing state enterprises (as defined in ss. 2 and 65). In particular, it provides that such enterprises shall implement the system of factory director responsibility and that the interests of staff and workers shall be protected by law. The trade union in the enterprise shall organise the staff and workers for participation in democratic management and supervision (s. 11). The Law contains the following Chapters: I, General provisions; II, Establishment, modification and termination of the enterprise; III, Rights and obligations of the enterprise; IV, The Factory director; V, [Democratic management]; VI, Relationship between the enterprises and the Government; VII, Legal liability; and VIII, Supplementary Provisions (including penal sanctions). Entry into force 1 Aug. 1988 (s. 69). |
