Abstract/Citation
Comprehensive legislation covering various labour issues. Does not apply to members of the armed forces, police, government and municipalities, nor to persons in the employer's family living with and dependent upon him, nor to workers in simple occupations and domestic servants. Chapter II provides for control of employment of workers, and of foreigner's work. Chapter III deals with vocational training; Chapter IV with labour contracts. Chapter V regulates wages, leave, and hours of work. Chapter VI deals with employment of children, juveniles and women, Chapter VII with occupational safety, Chapter VIII with labour disputes, and finally, Chapter XI with offences.
