| Abstract/Citation: | Contains several amendments and additional provisions, inter alia, ss. 27 (4) (calculation of period for residence permits purposes), 29a (1) (deportation of foreigners to other EU countries), 42a (1) (financial contributions for foreigners in the countries applying for residence permits), 42a (2) (financial contributions in case a foreigner is not entitled to residence permit), and 59 (2, 3) (sanctions) to the Aliens' Act (No. 539 of 1999). Amends and adds several provisions, inter alia, s. 1 (2:2) (rights accompanying residence permit), 1 (3) (rights for foreigner not needing visa), 1 (4) (administrative rules governing visa), 38 (controls where frontiers are with another country not party to the Schengen Convention) of the Aliens' Act (No. 410 of 1997) ("Schengen Convention"). |
