Second Region

Deals with various aspects of human rights. Sections 3-5 make provision for interpretation of legislation, declaration of incompatibility, and right of the Crown to intervene. Sections 6-9 deal with acts of public authorities, proceedings, judicial remedies and judicial acts. Subsequent sections provide for remedial action, rights and proceedings, derogations and reservations, appointment of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights, and parliamentary procedure.
