Abstract/Citation: Sets out rules under which economic activity may be taken up and performed by enterprises in the territory of the Republic of Poland and determines tasks of government administration and self-government organs in the field of economic activity. Defines economic activity as any lucrative activity related to production, commerce, construction, and services. An enterprise is any natural or legal person, or any entity with no legal personality incorporated under commercial law, which on its own behalf is professionaly engaged in and performs such economic activity as defined by this act.
