Second Region

Regulates pensions for civil servants in Iraq. Chapter One governs definitions, qualifications, and disqualifications for pensions. Establishes eligibility, sets the conditions under which an official or pensioner can forfeit his or her right to a pension, and regulates the conditions under which a pension may be granted. Chapter Two regulates deductions and assessments. Sets deduction rates. Establishes the manner by which pensions are to be assessed. Chapter Three defines what is considered pensionable service. Chapter Four regulates the pensions of religious parties. Chapter Five provides for the pensions of night watchmen. Chapter Six makes regulations concerning the reappointment of pesnioners. Chapter Seven governs disability pensions. Chapter Eight regulates family pensions while Chapter Nine makes miscellaneous provisions.
