| Abstract/Citation: | Provides for the establishment of the Unemployment Insurance scheme. Requires employers to report number of workers and dismissals, and provides for payment of contributions and benefits. Also provides for new retirement ages. Amends certain sections of the Social Insurance Act No. 506 of 17 July 1964, the Social Insurance Act No. 2925 of 17 October 1983 concerning agricultural workers, Act No. 5434 of 8 June 1949 concerning the Retirement Fund of the Republic of Turkey, Act No.1479 of 2 September 1971 concerning Social Insurance for small merchants, craftsmen and independent workers, Act No. 2926 of 17 October 1983 concerning Social Insurance of those working in the agricultural sector in their own name and account, and amends Labour Act No. 1475 by inserting a new section concerning unemployment insurance and unemployment benefit in the case of dismissal. |
