Abstract/Citation
Makes various amendment to the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations 1995. Changes the rules relating to ill-health and incapacity retirements. Amends the payment procedures for death benefits. Provides that children's long term pensions are comparable where no spouse's long term pension is payable irrespective of who is taking care of the children. Regulates referrals for medical examinations. Regulates opting out. Makes related administrative amendments.
