| Abstract/Citation: | Amends the law relating to social security services and social security administration. Governs the supply and use of information. Regulates information held by tax authorities. Establishes penalties and consequences for the unauthorized use of information. Regulates the administration of housing and council tax benefits and provides for investigations relating to those benefits. Regulates offences, penalties and overpayments. Regulates reviews initiated by the Secretary of State and the medical examination of persons awarded certain benefits. Makes supplementary and consequential amendments and regulations. |
