| Abstract/Citation: | Implements provisions of the Social Security (Fraud) Act 1997. Gives local authorities administering housing benefit and any person exercising such functions for them the power to require certain landlords and their agents to provide information as to their interests in residential property, including that of any associated bodies. Establishes the time and manner in which that information is to be provided. Sets penalties for offences. |
