Abstract/Citation: Extends the application of the principal regulations to ships of all sizes, except fishing vessels. Hours of rest for seafarers performing watch duties shall be 10 hours for every 24 hours, and such rest shall not be divided into more than two periods, one of which shall be at least six hours in length. Gives effect to 1995 amendments to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978.
