Abstract/Citation: | Introduces (s.1) a general prohibition against unjustified use of information on the status of health of an employee for the purpose of limiting the employee's possibility to obtain or maintain an employment. Sets out the conditions for the employer to request and require information (ss. 2-5), and the extent of the employee's obligation to provide information (ss. 6-7). Sets up (s. 8) a council competent to provide advice on issues referred for decision pursuant to the Act. Regulates (s. 9) how consent by the employee is to be provided, (s. 10) the required competence of examining personnel, and (s. 11) applicable non-disclosure rules. Ss. 12-14 provide for compensation and fines for violations of the Act. |
