Abstract/Citation: Prescribes a minimum of 40 percent representation of each gender in all public committees composed of at least four members. In committees with two or three members both genders must be represented. These prescriptions also apply to replacements. Subject to a decision by the Ministry of Children and Family, exceptions are allowed in situations when it appears manifestly unreasonable to maintain these requirements. Gender-representation in existing organs is to be examined by the said Ministry. Repeals provisions No. 1769 of 1983-07-22 on the same subject.
