Abstract/Citation: Provides for general strike organization. Decision to strike is taken by the trade union in the interest of the employees. A strike committee must, among other duties, settle the dispute in a safe manner. In the public sector, strike is only possible if it does not threaten people's security or damage (public sectors include inter alia traffic, information, medical protection, security and protection of the Republic and chemical industry). Employees of the public sector can strike if they maintain a minimum service. During the strike, the employer shall not employ other persons to replace the strikers except if the strike threatens public safety. He shall not either prevent his employees from striking or reward those who do not strike. Provides for monetary penalties in case of breach of the law.
