Abstract/Citation: Provides for rules to protect seafaring employees who are pregnant, recently have given birth, who are breast feeding or who have children. Details the right to paid leave for medical check ups, delivery and care of child including, in certain conditions, the right to free transport to Norway. The total parental leave entitlement is one year. Repeals Provisions (No. 234 of 1986) on the same subject.
