| Abstract/Citation: | Makes numerous amendments to the Local Government Superannuation (Scotland) Regulations 1987. Inter alia, alters the position of women retiring at 60 with less than 25 years' service so that they will no longer be obliged to take their pension at that age but, like men, may elect to do so (s. 3). S. 4 removes an inequality which stipulates under certain conditions a reduction of a man's pension but not of a woman's. |
