Second Region

Undated Decision adopted by the Council of Minister and the Central Council of Bulgarian Trade Unions in application of Ordinance No. 72 of 1986. Under these provisions, all internal rules of enterprises shall concretise the rights and duties of enterprises and of workers as established by the Labour Code of 1986, and in no case may run counter to it. All rules are to be drawn up by the management of the enterprise and the competent trade union, then discussed and adopted by the work collectives involved. The text stresses the importance of labour discipline and provides for penalties which can include dismissal in case of infringement.
