| Abstract/Citation: | Consequential to the Jobseekers Act 1995, it is no longer a condition of entitlement to income support that a claimant be available for and actively seeking employment. The text thus revokes all provisions of the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987 (S.I. 1987/1967) which stipulate that a claimant be available for and actively seeking employment. Also makes numerous other technical amendments. |
