| Abstract/Citation: | Employers shall assess the risk to the health of new or expectant mothers or women of child-bearing age of tasks which are potentially harmful. If risk is present, employers shall alter the tasks of the employee or suspend the employee as long as necessary to avoid risk. Employees have the right to be offered alternative work if available (s. 4). Implements Council Directive 92/85/EEC. Made under the Factories Ordinance. |
