| Abstract/Citation: | Provides comprehensive regulations concerning pension schemes in Northern Ireland. Part I concerns matters related to the administration of pension funds, including the appointment and removal of trustees, the supervision of funds, and the winding up of insolvent funds. Part III relates to state pensions. Matters related to the interaction between private and state schemes are regulated in Part IV. Part V concerns miscellaneous matters, including the powers and functions of the Pensions Ombudsman. Numerous minor consequential amendments are set out in the attached Schedules. |
