Provides for hours of work and rest, including overtime, nightwork, and rest periods (lunch, breast feeding, holidays, etc.). The general national standard for the working time shall not exceed 8 hours pers day and 40 hours per week. Specific provisions dealing with reduced working time. The standard limit on overtime per employee is 200 hours per calendar year. The working time of a person with a second job shall not exceed 20 hours per week at the second job. Evening time is defined as time between 18.00-22.00, and night time as time between 22.00-6.00. Employees may be provided with up to 2 hours of breaks for rest and meals. A break for rest and meals shall be provided not later than after 5 hours of work. The duration of rest time between shifts shall be at least 11 hours and employees shall have at least 2 days off per week. Repeals Sections 45-67, 165, 168, 175 and 183 of the Labour Code, and Section 13 of the Child Benefits Act.
