Abstract/Citation: Applies where an employer intends to lay off within 30 days at least 10 employees in an enterprise of at least 20 employees but not more than 100 employees, or at least 10 per cent of employees in an enterprise of at least 100 employees but not more than 300 employees, or at least 30 employees in an enterprise of at least 300 employees. Includes provisions on duty to negotiate with trade union, advance notice and severance pay.
