Abstract/Citation: Inserts a new Chapter IA relating to the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual. Includes such rights and freedoms as, inter alia, the protection of right to life and right to personal liberty, protection from slavery and forced labour, protection from inhuman treatment, protection for privacy of home and other property, protection of freedom of conscience, freedom of expression, freedom of assembly and association, and protection from discrimination on the grounds of race, tribe, place of origin, political opinions, colour or creed.
