Abstract/Citation: Amends the Disability Working Allowance (General) Regulations 1991, the Family Credit (General) Regulations 1987 and the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987 in, inter alia, the following respects: (1) treating persons as not being engaged in remunerative work, when they receive payments from certain organizations for providing temporary accommodation and care to a person not normally a member of his household, or when they are in receipt of a training allowance while in a scheme of training or instruction; (2) provisions concerning the period over which the weekly earnings of employed and self-employed earners are to be calculated and; (3) excluding payment made to a claimant by certain organizations for providing temporary accommodation and care to a person not normally a member of his household from consideration as earnings.
