Abstract/Citation: These provisions regulate three types of holidays: 1) public holiday for the entire population (one day for New Year's Day; three days for Chinese Spring Festival Holiday; one day for International Labour Day and two days for National Day); 2) holidays for a part of the population (International Women's Day; Youth Day; Children Days and Commemoration Day for the founding of the People's Liberation Army); 3) holidays granted to ethnic minorities in accordance with particular local customs.
