Abstract/Citation: The purpose of these Regulations is to eliminate or reduce hazards and occupational diseases caused by mercury in mercurial thermometer production (Ch.I). Ch.II concerns basic requirements of work environment in mercurial workshops. Ch.III governs administration and supervision of production safety. Ch.IV lays down rules for disposal of mercurial gas, sewage and residues. Ch.V deals with occupational health service for staff and workers. Penalties are provided for in Ch.VI for violation of these Regulations.
