| Abstract/Citation: | The approved interim provisions are included in the Resolution as its Appendix. The purpose of these provisions is to establish a retirement system for veteran cadres in China. The preferential treatment including retirement benefits and political status is guaranteed for these so-called "cadres who leave their posts in order to rest". |
