Second Region

Stipulates that a foreigner employed in the public sector can be joined in Kuwait by his wife and up to three children, provided that he earns at least 450 dinars per month. Foreigners working in the private sector can be joined by their wife and two children, but they must earn at least 650 dinars per month and pay an annual tax of 100 dinars per family member. Foreigners in either category can bring over more than the prescribed number of children if they pay an additional annual tax per child.
