Abstract/Citation: Amends the Social Security (Claims and Payments) Regulations 1987, inter alia, by extending to disability working allowances the right to claim benefit out of time if there is a good cause for delay; by enabling the Secretary of State to determine, in any particular case, that notice of a change of circumstances may be given otherwise than in writing; by providing that the Secretary of State may only direct that payment of benefit be made to a natural person on the beneficiary's behalf; and by revoking regulation 49 relating to family income supplement and supplementary benefit.
