| Abstract/Citation: | Amends the Housing Benefit (General) Regulations 1987 and the Community Charge Benefits (General) Regulations 1989, inter alia, by providing for the calculation of the amount to be deducted in respect of income tax in relation to a claimant's earnings to take account of the lower rate of income tax, by specifying certain legislative changes which relate to social security contributions, and by defining the circumstances in which payments in respect of certain types of accommodation are excluded from housing benefit. |
