| Abstract/Citation: | The Government Regulations set out the rules for the public housing savings program (Tapera). The regulation provides further instruction for fund management body BP Tapera in collecting and organising money for public housing intended for civil servants, military and police personnel, state-owned enterprise employees and private employers. Salaried workers deposits are to be paid into the fund by both the worker and the employer (3% of salary with employer paying in 0.5% and the worker 2.5%). For self employed workers, the contribute on an individual basis. |
