| Abstract/Citation: | Establishes a Child Marriage Prevention Committee. Prohibits child marriages for children under the age of 18 years old. Under Article 19, child marriage may still be allowed if its is deemed to be "in the best interests of the child". The Act repeals the Child Marriage REstraint Act, 1929. |
