| Abstract/Citation: | Introduces a new version of the law on Family Benefits with the following content: Chapter I: General provisions Chapter II: Family benefits Chapter III: Parental benefit Chapter IV: Maintenance Chapter V: Application provisions. Amends a number of legal acts including, inter alia, Labour Market Services and Benefits Act, introducing minor wording changes into paragraph 26 (Right to receive unemployment allowance). Also amends Defense Forces Service Act, namely changes the wording of sub-paragraphs 11-13 of para 54 and sub-paragraph 5 of para 64, adding new sub-paragraphs 5 (1), 5 (2). Amends "Funded Pensions Act": namely changes the wording of para 10 (Supplementary contribution to mandatory pension fund upon receipt of parental benefit) supplementing it with new sub-paragraphs 2 (1) and 2 (2). Amends "Social Benefits for Disabled Persons Act": namely rephrases para 19 (Suspension, continuation and termination of payment of disabled child allowance, disabled parent’s allowance and disability allowance for person of working age granted to person under 18 years of age); para 9 (Disabled parent’s allowance). Also makes minor wording changes in paras 1, 15, 16, 25. Amends "State Funeral Benefits Act": namely, introduces changes, inter alia, into paras 1 (Scope of application of Act), 2 (State funeral benefit and right to receive state funeral benefit), 13 (Recovery and set-off of funeral benefit). Amends "State Pension Insurance Act": namely, supplements it with para 30 (1) (Notifying persons of their right to receive old-age pension); changes, inter alia, the wording of para 31 (Claim for state pension), para 32 (Grant of state pension), para 36 (Payment of state pension), para 47 (Set-off against state pension). Amends "Employment Contracts Act": namely, changes, inter alia, the wording of para 62 (Child care leave), adds sub-paragraphs 4-8 to para 66 (Compensation for holiday pay from state budget). Amends "Occupational Health and Safety Act": namely, changes, inter alia, the wording of para 10 (Pregnant and nursing employees) supplementing it with sub-paragraph 8. Repeals the "Parental Benefits Act"; also "Maintenance Assistance Act". |
