Introduces, inter alia, major wording changes into articles 1 (General concepts used in this law), 2 (Employed citizens), 4 (Fitting work), 5 (Legislation on employment of population), the title of Chapter II, which now reads: "Rights and duties of citizens in relation to employment of population". Rephrases article 3 which now reads: "Procedure and terms of registration of citizens as unemployed'; also rephrases article 7, which now reads: "Right of citizens to consultation, professional orientation, professional training, re-training, qualification improvement, learning the content of educational program of learning courses and receiving information in state service bodies of employment of population", article 8, which now reads: "Right to job placement out of the Republic of Belarus"; article 14-"Interaction with state bodies and other organizations"; article 15-"Activity of agency for job placement"; article 18-"Professional orientation, professional training, re-training, qualification improvement, learning the content of educational program of learning courses"; article 23-"Stipends for citizens sent for professional training, re-training, qualification improvement, or learning the content of educational program of learning courses".
Supplements the law with new article 9.1 on "Duties of citizens related to employment of population"; article 18.1: "Assistance for unemployed in obtaining experience in practical work".
Also introduces wording changes in articles 10 (State policy and guarantees in the field of assisting employment of population), 11 (Additional guarantees in the field of assisting employment of population), 12 (Regulation of employment of population), 13 (State services of employment of population), 19 (Organization of paid public works), 21 (Duties of hires in the field of ensuring employment of population), 24 (Unemployment allowance), 25 (Withdrawal from the registry of unemployed, suspension, termination of payment of allowance for unemployment), 26 (Material support).
Paras 1-12, paragraphs 1-6 of para 13, paras 14-21 of article 1 enter into force three months after official publication; paragraphs 7-11 of para 13 of article 1 enter into force on 1 January 2017.
