Amends, inter alia, the Aliens Act: namely supplements it with new sections 621 (Issue of visa related to short-term employment of alien in Estonia), 622 (Issue of visa related to commencement of studies of alien in Estonia); also makes changes in the wording of para (2) of section 101 (Organisation of visa affairs), 106 (Registration of short-term employment in Estonia) adding sub-paragraph 12), paras (3)-(6), also adds new para (11) to section 107 (Amount of remuneration paid to alien).
Introduces new sections 1071 (Legal effect of registration of short-term employment in Estonia) and 1211 ( Sending alien to participate in adaptation programme), 1681 ( Specification of requirement for legal income), 2231 (Adaptation programme for aliens), 3095 (Alien who received residence permit for long-term resident before 20 May 2013 and who held residence permit granted on basis of Refugees Act or Act on Granting International Protection to Aliens previously), 3096 (Work permits issued before 1 September 2013 and submitted applications for work permit).
Adds para (11) to section 110 (Organization of short-term employment in Estonia), also adds sub-paragraphs 11,12 to section 115 (Calculation of fulfillment of immigration quota), para (11) to section 125 (Issue of temporary residence permit as exception), paras (11), (12) to section 178, new sub-paragraphs 4)-7) to section 181 (specification of conditions of issue of temporary residence permit for employment), paras (3)-(5) to 1812 (Specifications of employment in Estonia of alien who has been granted temporary residence permit for employment). Also makes minor wording changes, inter alia, in sections 9, 137, 181, 137, 162, 170, 173, 175, 177, 185, 188, 189, 192, 200, 204, 213, 2016, 226.
Section 1, para (4), section 622, section 5, para (5), section 52, section 216, sections 24, 54, 224 enter into force 1 January 2014.
