|Abstract/Citation:||Sets the general provisions concerning, inter alia, the sphere of effect of this law, organizations and individual entrepreneurs providing psychiatric aid, the presumption of absence of psychiatric disorder (diseases), protection of rights and legal interests of patient (Chapter I); state regulation and state policy in the sphere of providing psychiatric aid, also state guarantees for persons suffering from psychiatric disorders (Chapter II); organization of psychiatric aid, rights and duties of patients when providing them psychiatric aid (Chapter III); rights and duties of medical workers who provide psychiatric aid (Chapter IV); psychiatric certification, forensic psychiatric examination (Chapter V); organization of psychiatric aid in ambulatory and stationary conditions (Chapters VI, VII); final provisions (Chapter VIII).
Repeals the Law of 1 July 1999 "On Psychiatric Aid and Guarantees for Rights of Citizens when Providing Psychiatric Aid" (Nacionalnij Reestr pravovikh actov Respubliki Belarus, 1999, No.52, 2/49).
