Skills 21 project of ILO supported DTE to develop a COVID-19 response plan for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). After mapping the effect of the pandemic in technical education, capacity of blended learning method, opportunities and challenges in online learning - the project structured the response plan. The recommendations intend to help recover and transform Bangladesh TVET Sector into a responsive and resilient system that can withstand the impact of COVID and any such global emergency. Development partners contributed and later validated the plan, which has now been submitted to DTE through a workshop.
