National productivity organizations: repositioning for relevance and impact

This report looks at productivity organizations that are active in the Caribbean and abroad with attention being given to what they focus on, how they work, what they have learned over time and possible recommendations for countries wishing to establish similar institutions.

This study does not intend to become a benchmark. We are still not there yet. However, it gives relevant and important insights into what can be done, what is still needed, and where there could be areas for more exchange and collaboration between productivity organizations. In times of uncertainty as reflected in the current COVID-19 pandemic, it is these types of collective efforts that will help us improve and increase productivity. This will remain a key concern in this “new normal” in which we are called to operate.
