New results

Montenegro pioneers new labour market information system platform
Montenegro becomes the first country in Southeastern Europe to sign up for one of the world's most advanced statistical platforms for labour market information: ILO's LMIS.Stat.

ILO provided assistance for ther creation of 550 new jobs in Bosnia and Herzegovina 
The job creation project funded by the EU facilitated the establishment of 19 local employment partnerships which trained more than 1600 unemployed persons. The approach is being replicated in other countries in the region, i.e. in Moldova and Ukraine.

Young entrepreneurs and innovators supported by ILO mark Europe Day in BiH

Local employment partnerships are best equipped to address local needs: ILO kicks of its first Local Employment Partnership project in Moldova

The project will create jobs for young people at risk of social inclusion and promote their transition from formal to informal employment in the Cahul region.

New projects signed

Child labour project in Kosovo and Serbia
The global project funded by the US Department of Labor will work in key countries, including Kosovo and Serbia, to combat child labour and forced labour.

ILO celebrates its Centenary

Voices of change in Ukraine: ILO community celebrates Centenary
ILO brought together its beneficiaries and key partners on the occassion of the Centenary to hear their testimonies on how ILO is advancing the labour market in Ukraine and in the region.
 
ILO receives award from Poland
ILO received one of the highest honours of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy of Poland for its outstanding contributions to improve labour and social policies.
