  1. ILO International Conference: "The social Dimensions of Free Trade Agreements"

    In cooperation with the French government, the ILO is organizing an international conference on "The Social Dimensions of Free Trade Agreements". At the conference, the ILO Institute for Labour Studies will launch a study providing a detailed analysis of how labour provisions are included in trade agreements and on which effects these provisions may produce in terms of labour laws or the conditions under which companies operate when engaged in international trade.

  4. UN Day in Brussels

    On Sunday 20 October 2013, from 11 am to 5 pm, the UN Brussels agencies celebrate the UN Day, commemorating the founding of the UN in 1945, at the Grand-Place of Brussels. Come and visit the UN information village with lots of activities, games, ... ILO-Brussels will participate in this day.

  2. TACKLE end of project global stakeholders workshop

    2 - 3 July 2013

    'TACKLE', Tackling child labour through education, is a joint project of the European Commission and the ILO with the support of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP). Launched in 2008, TACKLE aims at fighting child labour in 12 countries. An end of project global workshop takes place in Brussels on 2 and 3 July 2013.
