Lecture by Gilbert Houngbo on "Key Challenges for the Global Protection of Labour Rights"

The ILO's Deputy Director-General Gilbert Houngbo will hold a high-level public lecture hosted by the University of Leuven.

The Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies,together with the ILO-Brussels Office, kindly invite you to a High-Level Public Lecture on "Key Challenges for Global Protection of Labour Rights" by Mr. Gilbert Houngbo, Deputy Director-General of the International Labour Organization.

The lecture will be chaired by Prof. Dr. Roger Blanpain, KU Leuven / Tilburg University. It will take place on Thursday 20 February 2014, from 17:00 to 18:30 at the Leuven Institute for Ireland in Europe Janseniusstraat 1, Leuven.

Participation is free, but online registration is required by 18 February 2014.

The lecture takes place as a part of an International Workshop on "Fostering Labor Rights in the Global Economy: Multidisciplinary Perspectives on the Effectiveness of Transnational Public and Private Policy Initiatives".
